Commission for :iconwolfgodess: - see, told you I could do it Jen! :D

The next image in my World of Warcraft line, this time it's a dragonhawk (introduced with Burning Crusade). These creatures wander Eversong Woods, and Blood Elves like to tame them as pets.

Not much to say about this one, took me the usual amount of time, 10 layers + background. Told myself I wasn't going to push to finish this tonight, but I was nearly done anyway so xD;

i play a blood elf hunter and surprise surprise i have one as a pet ^^ although i havent seen too many others out side of silvermoon

thankyou =) for the +fav as well. It's true you don't see many outside of that zone, probably because it's more of a novelty pet, then hunters find things that are better for levelling - there are much better pet choices out there =P

i dont know i eats most fings (ie meat cooked meat fish and fruit) so it doesnt cost much to feed and well mine seems to work well enough and fire breath is just cool ^^

hehe :D true, I personally go for the rare mobs and odd colours for hunter pets, my Belf hunter has Ressan the Needler (white bat), not really tried a dragonhawk so I wouldn't know its stats :P but cats are always very popular...

I keep the original model as a visual aid next to the pic to do the colour blocks, then refer to it to do the shading ^^ I improvise a lot with the details though, so it often looks a bit different to the original. I sometimes put a faded drawing behind on difficult bits or to get proportions right =)
